MHI TeamMHI Team

The health situation in East Africa is severe. Poor domestic and personal hygiene practices, worsening health conditions for women and children, and increased cases of communicable and parasitic diseases are just a few of the reasons why there is a high demand for quality healthcare.

MHI, and specifically the Preventative Health Education Trainers (PHET), is fortunate to have an exceptionally talented and gifted staff. Backgrounds include health services, preventative health education, and several advanced degrees in theology from well-known institutions. Each staff member is a great asset for evangelism and advancement of the Kingdom of God.

MHI’s PHET work to increase community awareness of practical disease prevention methods and techniques to the unreached and underserved people of South Sudan and Uganda at a grassroots level. Efforts include health education, a book club, computer training, and an annual youth leadership conference.

The MHI team strives for excellence and desires to change communities through health education, discipleship and evangelism.
